“I believe that I, no matter what happens, can change the situation I am in.
I believe in my future vision. In one year, I will have developed. And in order to do so, I will take risks – but I am not afraid. Whatever the outcome, I know I can rely on myself.” Natalia believes in her own transformational power: the power to change the situation, the circumstances she is in, to transform them such to reach her future vision.
“I also believe in the sea”, she added, smiling.
And isn’t the sea itself a big transformational power? This is why the very first layer of Natalia's smallest is a liquid blue sea with grains of salt in it. It is not visible anymore, but it is this sea that enables and carries all the rest of her smallest.
The mirror pieces, which reflect any given part of reality, symbolise whatever life presents her with – this could be seemingly shattering circumstances, attacks, cuts; but also new self-conceptions, reflections, pieces of a puzzle, materials, rays of sunshine and light.
No matter what, through her own transformational power, Natalia turns all of this into her future vision, the metaphorical gold, an abundant and wild gold carried by a bed of rosé, a certain softness and all-encompassing perseverance accompanying and supporting her.
