“Light. I believe in light”, Fenia said.
“And life. Light, like the sun, you know?”, she smiled.
“Light, life, and freedom, those three. It must be those three.
At my age, I know this now. This is what I live for.
Those are the important things in life."
Fenias smallest is … light, pure light, freedom, not caught in the canvas, not caught in a frame – life, it must be movable, it must touch you when you touch it, it must be moving, flexible, recharging you when you look at it, like the sun. Life, light freedom. The light is free and it enables life. Life is free. It contains light, the idea of the colours the light holds – brillant pastel tones. The frame? Inspired by the classical golden picture frames, it is more flexible, lighter than they are. The frame, in fact, does not really exist, there are golden sprinkles representing freedom, life and light. Touch the gold and it will touch you, sprinkling free light into your life.
Last but now least (this might seem obvious, but we must recognise this) it is our life, our being alive, which enables us to see this!
